This policy explains what information ultratoneonline.com (“the site”) collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have. The site is run by the band Ultratone in Louisville, Kentucky. If you have any questions, email us at contact@ultratoneonline.com.

The short version

• We don’t use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
• We only get personal information if you send it to us: through the contact form, by email, or when you buy something through PayPal.
• We never sell or rent your information to anyone.

Contact form

When you use the form on our Contact page, we receive your name, email address, and message. The form sends that information to us by email so we can reply. We don’t add you to a mailing list, and we keep your message only as long as we need it to respond to you. The form includes basic spam protection that doesn’t track you.

Purchases

CD and merchandise orders are processed by PayPal. When you click “Add to Cart” or “View Cart,” you’re taken to PayPal’s secure site, and your payment details are handled entirely by PayPal; we never see or store your card or bank information. PayPal shares your name, email address, and shipping address with us so we can send your order. PayPal’s use of your information is covered by the PayPal Privacy Statement.

Music and video players

Some pages include content from other services:

• Bandcamp: the music players on our Discography page are provided by Bandcamp and load from bandcamp.com. Bandcamp may collect usage information and set cookies as described in the Bandcamp Privacy Policy.
• YouTube: our Videos page uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Nothing loads from YouTube until you click play; once you do, YouTube’s privacy policy applies to that video.

Links to other sites, like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Tidal, Beatstars, and our social media pages, take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

Cookies

This site doesn’t set cookies for visitors. WordPress sets a few functional cookies only for site administrators when they log in. The third-party players described above may set their own cookies once they load or play.

Hosting and server logs

Like nearly every website, our web host automatically keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visited. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and aren’t used to identify you.

Sharing your information

We don’t sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share it when needed to complete something you asked for (for example, a shipping carrier delivering your order) or if required by law.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email contact@ultratoneonline.com and we’ll take care of it.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update it on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top.
